Convergence

Introduction

Convergence holds a unique personality, as the designers say that the building talks to its audience by exhibiting itself in different shapes and lights. What more could the employees working there might ask for? A building that speaks for itself and is perceptible as it widens the street at the site of the infamous highway that connects the main city to the Chandigarh International Airport. The lopsided convergence of the incurved lines prompts homing of a soul towards the entrance of the building. The sensible drape in the design is a true refinement that sheaths a cubic structure. Thus is the end result of an artistic experiment with concrete, standing firm as a melancholic sonnet of expressionism as used by Mr Le Corbusier.
